It’s time to gear up for the not-quite-annual Triangle Corporate Battle of the Bands.
So grab that old electric guitar, the one that's buried under the VHS player you never got around to throwing away. And don't forget your amplifier or, if necessary, your hearing aid.
Competing corporate bands must have at least three members and no more than 10. A majority of the band members must be on your company's payroll, but you can recruit members from clients or affiliated companies.
"You get to see all of these alter egos," said Joni Madison, chief operating officer of Durham ad agency McKinney, which is hosting the event along with the American Tobacco Campus. "It's fun seeing these people have a midlife crisis on stage."
