Triangle Corporate Battle of the Bands

All proceeds from this year’s Battle will go to Operation Literacy powered by The Hill Center. This unique partnership with Durham County Public Schools will help children struggling with learning differences learn the skills they need to achieve.

Elementary and middle school students in need of extra learning assistance will receive individualized afterschool tutoring using the highly successful HillRAP (Reading Achievement Program) curriculum. This research-based methodology was specifically developed by The Hill Center for children struggling with reading and has repeatedly been proven to be effective.

Extensive studies have shown that regardless of the various learning challenges they face, HillRAP students are able to reverse their pattern of learning difficulty and start progressing at a faster rate than their peers, resulting in significant growth in achievement.
